The end of summer....

Did we really have a summer? Not really. I think I saw a total of seven or eight days of sunshine,,,the rest has been rain, rain, rain.
Awwww...despite all the bad weather, the girls and I made the most of summer by traveling to Utah to visit our "family," Janet and Monte and their kids and grandkids....always so gracious to us! Then we drove to Las Vegas, spent the nite at the Monte Carlo, saw the Phantom of the Opera Stage Production which was totally out of this world! The girls and I were absolutely in awe.
Off to Phoenix to visit family and then back to Utah! Finally, a trip to Manti to see the Mormon Pageant with 2,800 other visitors. Beautiful pageant!! Back home two weeks later.
Aside from a kayak trip across the bay and the girls beach visits, that was our summer. Maybe next summer we can do more...if the weather doesn't dissapoint!
